We had an action-packed Iowa Clash to close out February in Des Moines, but that wasn't the end of our Hawkeye State forays. Davenport beckoned for the Quad Cities Clash, bringing a host of new names under our coverage umbrella.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The immediate intensity of Saturday's pool play was spearheaded by pin hitters. Like any great outside hitter, Moeller's influence wasn't limited to her scoring prowess along the net. She also dialed up massive runs through her serve and brought ample intensity as a middle-back defender. She can also adapt to various tempos behind the setter, whether it's in transition or in first-ball situations. DuPage Elite 17 United saw a big spike in offense production whenever Norkett rotated into the frontcourt. She carved through defenses in Saturday's pool play and worked on diversifying her arsenal on the left pin. Her best asset was her power, which confounded floor defenders who seemed primed to make a play. Joswiak was particularly effective on the right side to deliver those crucial sideout swings in marathon matches. Her broad jump and whippy arm put all of Court 1 on notice. 16 Mizuno has leaned on its balanced offense several times throughout 2026, but there are still some “alpha” terminators to be found.
