[player_tooltip player_id='569706' first='Amelia' last='Morrison'], a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Weatherford High School and [program_tooltip program_id='484725' first='Peak' last='Volleyball Academy'], is a 6'2" front row presence who attacks with a purposefulness and consistency that reflects serious position-specific training rather than a player just figuring out how to use her height. She finishes through contact rather than glancing the ball off the top of her hand, and the ability to redirect her swing based on what the block is giving her in real time is a skill that most middles at this level do not develop until much later in their career. Her lateral movement through the system keeps her connected to the play on both sides of the net and she does not disappear from the rally once her blocking responsibility ends, which tells you the full-game understanding of the position is already in place. There is still significant development ahead as she grows into her senior season, but the foundation is built well enough right now to project her into a meaningful role at the next level without hesitation. Amelia is a physical, technically grounded middle who deserves a full recruiting audience before her class is finalized. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='569723' first='Piper' last='Evans'], a Class of 2027 middle blocker and right side from Westwood High School in Austin and [program_tooltip program_id='448446' first='Austin' last='Skyline Juniors'] Volleyball Club, plays the front row with a versatility and competitive presence that makes her more valuable than a one-dimensional prospect at either position alone. Standing at 6'2", the contact point she creates above the net when she is running the middle game is difficult for blockers to fully account for, and she has developed the timing and approach mechanics to take advantage of that physical reality on a consistent basis rather than only in favorable sets. Her shot selection has matured and she reads the block before committing to an angle rather than swinging into the same spot repeatedly, which is the clearest indicator that the volleyball IQ is running at a high level behind the physical tools. On the right side she attacks with the same intent and confidence, and the fact that she does not experience a noticeable drop in effectiveness when the set moves across the court tells you the two-position development has been genuine rather than a roster necessity. Piper is a 6'2" dual-threat front row prospect who gives college programs real options in how they use her, and that flexibility alone makes her worth a serious look. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='819903' first='Micah' last='Rusher'], a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Oak Ridge High School in Conroe and [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] Volleyball Club, committed to the University of Memphis after putting together back-to-back individual award seasons that made the decision straightforward for any staff watching her closely. She earned District Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and the Most Valuable Blocker award as a sophomore, and those recognitions were not given based on potential. They were given because she was the most impactful presence at the net in her district in back-to-back years. At 6'2" she ranked in the top 22 in Texas and top 103 nationally in blocking production, numbers that reflect a player who does not just take up space in the front row but actively changes how opposing offenses operate when they see her on the other side of the net. Her attacking efficiency is equally worth discussing because she swings with a quickness and accuracy from the middle that makes her difficult to key on defensively, using her frame to create angles rather than simply powering the ball into the coverage. The Texas Sports Writers Association agreed when they named her to the 6A All-State Third Team, a recognition that reflects what she has already produced rather than what she is projected to become. Memphis is getting a proven, decorated middle blocker who has already shown she belongs at the next level. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our Official Watch List.
