The subtle shift in positioning. The communication that changes an entire rotation. The ability to recognize a tendency, trust training, and make an adjustment before the same play beats you twice.   This group was given the opportunity to break down their own game through reflection, and what stands out is how much of their impact begins with awareness. Different teams, different systems, and different championship paths, but the same theme keeps showing up, these athletes are reading the game earlier, communicating with purpose, and influencing rallies in ways that do not always show up in the stat sheet.    Dakota Washington reflects a defender who sees more than just the ball. She talks about making a mid-match adjustment on line defense after recognizing the opponent was no longer attacking directly to the line, and instead of staying locked into her normal rotation, she shifted deeper into the court, kept her hands active, and started turning difficult swings into playable digs.   Her serve receive and volleyball IQ have both taken a jump this season, but what stands out most is how she uses her voice to impact the offense. She talks about calling open shots for her hitters, recognizing block matchups before the swing, and helping teammates see opportunities they might miss in real time.   Outside of volleyball, preparation is everything for Dakota. Her pregame routine, energy, and confidence all feed directly into how she competes, and with regionals still ahead and a bid still on the table, her game feels vocal, prepared, and increasingly influential on both sides of the ball.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Daisy Vongsayo is constantly solving problems before anyone else sees them. In a tight second set, she recognized opponents repeatedly targeting deep seam two while her team was stuck in rotation six. Instead of waiting for a timeout, she took more court, shifted her back row, and changed the passing responsibility on the fly.   <blockquote class="wp-block-quote"> My goal was to take pressure off my outside so she could focus on hitting and scoring for us. </blockquote>   That adjustment helped her team finally side out and regain momentum.   Her growth this season is also showing up technically. She talks about becoming more confident with high hands in serve receive, learning how to push off her back foot and direct tougher passes with more control.   What makes Daisy stand out is how naturally service shows up in how she thinks about the game. She wants her setter working less, her hitters getting better opportunities, and her teammates feeling supported.   With the IM Region Bid Tournament and NIT West Coast Invitational still ahead, her game feels increasingly selfless, vocal, and built around making life easier for everyone around her.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Camila Amaya is a libero who is actively helping shape offensive decisions, not just defensive outcomes. After recognizing multiple teams shifting into four-corner defense, she immediately started feeding her pin hitters new scoring zones, helping her offense attack spaces they normally wouldn't target.   That kind of communication changes how teams score.   Her serve receive has also become a growing strength this season, and she credits simple but important coaching feedback, moving her feet earlier and keeping her platform away from her body, for helping her become more consistent.   What stands out most is how deeply connected she is to her teammates. She talks about watching warmups, studying what will help her friends perform better, and taking pride in helping the group grow together.   As her team prepares for SCSN Championships, Camila's game feels observant, connected, and increasingly valuable beyond the first touch.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Brynn Spackman is trusting what she was seeing. After noticing an opponent consistently attacking down her line on slides and right-side sets, she stopped cheating seam, committed fully to the line, and started turning those same swings into clean digs.   That kind of adjustment says a lot about how quickly she processes the game.   Her growth this season is also showing up in out-of-system setting, an area she openly says wasn't reliable early in the year. Through steadier platform work and better use of her legs, she has become someone her pins and back row now trust when the offense breaks down.   Outside of volleyball, friendships and trust drive how she shows up. She understands what it feels like to have teammates in your corner, and that is clearly shaping how she leads.   With a USA bid already secured for Nationals, Brynn's game feels balanced, dependable, and increasingly comfortable when rallies get messy.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Rachel Nemee is a libero who embraces her role. After facing multiple fast-tempo offenses, including Omni 16 National, she recognized she needed to get balanced sooner and started implementing a split-step just before outside contact.   The result? Seventeen digs in that match and a defender who stayed balanced even as the tempo increased.   Her growth this season has also expanded her offensive value. She talks about becoming confident hand-setting her hitters out of system, giving attackers a faster, cleaner ball instead of simply pushing high platform sets.   Faith also plays a major role in how Rachel competes. She talks about playing for something bigger than herself, and that perspective comes through in how she describes both winning and losing as a team.   Heading into NCVA League Championships in third place with a goal of finishing top two in Northern California, Rachel's game feels composed, technical, and increasingly complete.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Hope Weiss is learning quickly and never getting beat by the same ball twice. Against Sports Academy, she saw a right side tipping deep to the corner instead of just over the block. After the first look, she adjusted her read, started owning that space, and helped her team close out two tight sets.   That kind of reset changes matches.   Her biggest growth this season has come through communication, and the lesson that sparked it was unforgettable. Early in the season, her coach felt she wasn't vocal enough in warmups and didn't let her wear the libero jersey.   That moment changed everything.   Since then, communication has become one of the defining parts of her game, and it's helping her lead with more confidence and presence.
