Can’t Commit? No Problem. Five ‘29 Middles We’re Watching

There are a ton of options at every position and in every corner of the state. Her broad shoulders and innate ability to be around the ball at all times and in all situations makes her quite useful on her roster, and should be for most of her rosters for the rest of her prep career. Cue Amira, whose raw athleticism has got her this far. How much further is dependent on a lot of what she's learned this spring, and how she can apply it all to her final exam here at GJNCs. Her ability to play multiple positions in the front row with one of the best clubs in the area does. She's been playing a mostly open-level schedule, and holding her own against some of the best. Her length, speed on transition and ability to thump at will are just a few of the many things to watch Miss Kay do during the end of this spring and leading into next fall. Harper's footwork makes her an above-average middle in any class, which is one of the toughest things to teach young middles. For her, the training is already there, and by being available because of her transition footwork, she's always ready to swing. Once that swing comes, she can hit any angle from in front of or behind the setter in any tempo of set. It's only a matter of time before her Munciana training—-and even more foot speed—-pushes her stock into elite status.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
