MN 2028 Rankings: New Names Turning Heads

She has a fast arm swing, reads the game well, and does a great job moving laterally to close blocks and get herself in position to score. Her athleticism and instincts make her a tough matchup. Somehow, we missed her in our previous rankings, but after watching her play, it's clear she belongs here. She's efficient on the offensive end, transitions smoothly, and is always ready to take a big swing. Whether she's ripping the ball cross court or turning it down the line, she has the arm and confidence to put pressure on defenses. Sellner is just as valuable on the defensive side of the ball. She is a strong blocker who does a great job reading hitters and getting her hands in the right position. She consistently sets a well placed block and takes away quality attacking angles, forcing opponents to work harder for points. She's really fun to watch as she plays with confidence, competes hard, and isn't afraid to take big swings. Her transition is quick and she does a nice job reading the court. I've watched her quite a bit, both with Minneota on the high school side and with SWMNVB in the spring, and she's consistently reliable. She puts up a clean, hittable ball, keeps a nice tempo to the offense, and does a great job of getting her hitters all involved and contributing to the offense. In transition, she stays composed and does a nice job finding her middles when off the net, which keeps the offense highly effective and hard to defend. Playing up an age level, this quick lefty has been a tough matchup out of the middle. She uses her speed and fast arm swing to her advantage, and being left handed just adds another layer that makes her hard to defend. She moves well, gets on top of the ball quickly, and is tough to slow down especially when she runs a route from the right side into the middle. That angle she creates is tough for blockers to handle, and she's really effective for her team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
