2029 Rankings: Where are the Top Players Landing Next Club Season

When a Top 10 athlete chooses to stay put or make a move, it shapes more than just their own season, it signals something about the environment they believe will get them where they're headed next. She's running it back at [program_tooltip program_id='429573' first='Wave' last='Volleyball Club'], playing with Coach Scott's 16-1 team and the group of teammates she's already built chemistry with. There's a continuity to her decision that stands out: this isn't a fresh start, it's a continuation of something that was already working. Before committing, she made a point of attending pre-tryout clinics with a handful of clubs, looking for a team that could compete at a high level and make a real postseason run. Sunshine wasn't even on her radar at first, but what won her over was the balance she saw on the floor: a group that competed hard while still supporting each other, coaches included. She describes stepping into that environment as a breath of fresh air, and it's already showing up in how she talks about the game. She described training at the Mac as hard and purposeful, and expects the merge between Mizuno and SCVC to bring connections and friendships that will benefit recruiting.
