Dallas Sophomore ID Showcase Players to Watch Vol 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig Texas Showcases are back!  This Sunday we have three big events that will be held at the Courtside Sports Center on July 19^th.  We have the Stock Up showcase for grad classes 2027 and 2028, the Sophomore ID for the 2029 grad class, and the Freshman showcase for the 2030 grad class.  These events bring together athletes from across the state looking to compete in front of college coaches while being evaluated by Prep Dig scouts and court coaches. Showcases like this continue to provide a valuable platform for athletes to be seen, tested, and recognized for their individual performance and intangibles. She processes the game quickly, her hitters trust her, and she carries herself with a confidence that tends to make everyone around her play better. The question I am looking to answer on Sunday is whether her tempo variety and decision-making hold up when the competition level rises. She has a lot of the tools we look for to make a run at the state rankings and I am looking forward to seeing what she does with this opportunity.  Please stay tuned to see what our court coaches and scouts have to say about her play. Can she make the jump from Official Watch List to State Ranking List? She moves better than you expect for her height and the moments where her blocking instincts and her frame come together at the same time are the ones that stick with you after you leave the gym. Allen is a program that will put her in front of quality competition once the high school season begins, but Sunday is about what she shows in an open evaluation setting and I am looking forward to seeing how her footwork and transition have developed since I last had eyes on her. What has stood out to me with Lindley is her competitiveness and the effort she brings to every rep, which at this age and at this height is not something you can teach and is not something every prospect with her frame naturally has. Her blocking mechanics are still developing, but the athleticism and the willingness to compete are already there and those are the things that a good coaching staff can build on. Aledo is a program with a winning culture that will only sharpen her game further and I am looking forward to seeing how the work she has put in since club season shows up on the floor at Excel Training Center.
