As we wrap up the club season, several more college commitments came in that we weren't able to highlight while our attention was focused on the USAV National Championships. While recruiting continues, the Class of 2028 added several more talented athletes to the list of future college standouts locally, and it's time to recognize their decisions.

One of the top liberos in the state of Missouri is officially off the board. [player_tooltip player_id='729510' first='Andi' last='Gardner'] will be staying in-state, heading to Columbia to play for Dawn Sullivan and the Missouri Tigers. The [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']'] and Lee's Summit West defensive standout has compiled just shy of 800 digs over her freshman and sophomore high school seasons (Truman 2024), establishing herself as one of the premier back-row players in the region. Her relentless motor, court awareness, and consistency make her a tremendous addition to Missouri's future roster.

Gardner's Lee's Summit West teammate has also announced her college destination. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='729549' first='Jaelyn' last='Jordan'], who competed this club season with Mavs 16 Elite, will head west to the mountains of Colorado after committing to the University of Denver. Jordan has consistently impressed with her ability to run an efficient offense while making the players around her better, and she'll look to continue that success at the collegiate level.

Two of Jordan's Mavs 16 Elite teammates have decided to continue playing together beyond club volleyball. Santa Clara reached into the Midwest and landed libero/defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='800559' first='Sloane' last='Fende'] along with opposite hitter [player_tooltip player_id='808117' first='Vivian' last='Goode']. Both were instrumental pieces on a Mavs squad that finished among the top 20 teams in the nation in the 16 Open Division this summer. Their commitment gives Santa Clara two accomplished players who have already experienced competing on volleyball's biggest stages.

[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] also celebrated a pair of commitments to Missouri programs. [player_tooltip player_id='562034' first='Braydee' last='Miller'], the 6-foot-1 pin hitter from Eudora High School, is headed to Springfield after committing to Missouri State. Coming off a season in which she surpassed 500 kills, Miller enters her junior year with plenty of momentum and will undoubtedly be one of the top offensive players to watch this fall.

Rounding out the group is [player_tooltip player_id='832443' first='Gracyn' last='Lamley'], the third Lee's Summit West player on this list and a member of [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']. Lamley has chosen to stay close to home, committing to the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). The versatile outside hitter/defensive specialist brings a well-rounded game and competitive mindset that should make her a valuable addition to the Roos program.
