Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
It’s about time we got PVA in the action. PVA 16 Elite has made big strides since an early-season runner-up at KC MLK–while playing up in the 18 USA field. Miller has catalyzed the effort through her wicked crosscourt shots and tremendous court vision. Aside from her knack for producing first-ball kills, Miller has also stepped up her pass-to-attack skills in the serve-receive pattern. Opposing teams try to pick on Miller from the end line, but this well-rounded athlete has been up to the challenge.

Miller’s sophomore season as much watch TV. She finished with 288 digs and 525 kills for Eudora. That combination puts up there with elite duos like Barney and Wojo, Hawkeye and B.J, and Cagney and Lacey! Miller is ranked No. 4 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.

Eudora’s Miller is ranked No. 2 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. I really enjoyed watching her play during the prep season. She racked up 525 kills as a sophomore, after beginning her prep career with 345 kills as a freshman. She has Division I skills, and it will be interesting to see how her recruitment plays out. It will really depend on who PVA plays early in the tournament, on whether I catch them playing or not. I would love to see them go up against one of the tournament favorites.

The biggest climber at the top of the rankings is Eudora’s Miller. She moved from No. 14 to No. 2 overall. She had a solid effort at a tournament that I scouted in September. She is more of a six-rotation athlete than Lee, but not quite as physical and dominant right now. She gets more chances to attack playing for Eudora than Lee does for St. James. In 60 sets played, she has produced an eye-popping stat line that includes 299 kills, 28 aces, 15 blocks, 167 digs, and 334 serve receptions.

While I have not seen the schedule for the Baldwin tournament yet, one team I want to make sure and catch is the Eudora Cardinals. The Cardinals have not posted stats on MaxPreps, but I saw on social media that Miller recently had 33 kills in one match this past week. Miller is ranked No. 14 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She finished her freshman season with 345 kills and 259 digs.

Eudora is the No. 7-ranked team in the KVA Class 4A rankings. Miller is ranked No. 14 overall by Prep Dig. She is coming off a solid freshman season in which she recorded a team-high 345 kills in 91 sets played. The KVA has the defending champion Bishop Miege Stags ranked No. 1. I am going to be a homer with this pick and predict that the Hayden Wildcats leave Hutchinson as the Class 4A state champs in 2025.
