Players to Watch at Prep Dig Houston Stock Up Showcase - Vol. 4

<p>After a successful event in the Dallas area last Sunday, the Prep Dig Showcase series comes to Houston this weekend, providing prospects in the region with a unique opportunity to be seen right before the start of the high school season.</p>   <p>Our Prep Dig Houston Stock Up event will be held on Saturday at the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] facility in Spring, and will feature players from the classes of 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030, providing an intriguing mix of talent - click <a href="https://events.prepdig.com/e/2296/register/houston-stock-up-showcase">here</a> and register now!</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://www.instagram.com/p/Da5-TQ_H71A/ </div></figure>   <p>We're excited to get to watch some of the most promising players from the area in action on Saturday, and here are a few more names who could deliver strong performances in the event:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Landry is a Class of 2027 outside hitter who's part of Summer Creek's varsity team at the high school level and plays for [program_tooltip program_id='745880' first='Houston' last='Stellar'] at club. She's a technical and well-rounded prospect who's very consistent with her performances and who offers contributions in different areas of the game. Despite not being super tall, Landry is incredibly crafty and reliable offensively, consistently finding ways to hit around opposing blockers and swinging the ball with solid power, which makes it hard for defenders to stop her. Also capable of playing as a defensive specialist, she's an excellent passer and delivers the ball to her setter with great precision from anywhere on the court.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Thiele is a Class of 2030 setter/right side hitter who's about to have her first high school season with Katy Taylor and represents [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] at the club level. She has excellent size and uses it very well when setting, easily getting to tight passes at the net and making the most of her high contact point to deliver quick, accurate sets at the pin. A lefty, Thiele thrives as a hitter, too, showing solid firepower and great decision-making to beat blockers and defenders and score points. She's also very good with her setter dumps, doing a great job of diversifying how she plays them and where she sends the ball to catch opponents off guard.</p>   <p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DZTF3YKhft6/"><strong>Highlights</strong></a></p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Patterson is a Class of 2030 middle who plays club volleyball for [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors']. Blocking is the defining skill in her game, as she's excellent at using her physical tools and superior volleyball IQ to get stops at the net. Patterson moves extremely well at the net, is very quick to get off the ground and is amazing at anticipating plays, making it very hard for opponents to avoid her at the net.
