There are experienced players coming back, younger athletes ready for bigger opportunities, and plenty of size and athleticism at the net. These middle blockers aren't just there to put up a block. They're running quicks, closing seams, creating transition opportunities, and finding ways to score when their teams need a point. Whether it's taking away a kill, which results in a hitting error, or popping up quick on a first-tempo attack, she knows how to take portions of a match.
