Setters Run the Show at Nebraska Stock Up Showcase

Distributors are constantly adapting to new attackers on their side of the net, and that comes with varying preferences on tempo and location. Adapting on the fly is paramount.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In short, setters don't need to be perfect to have an outstanding showcase performance. Rather, we're looking for leaders who can consistently better the ball and demonstrate the desire to make their impromptu teammates better. Her summer momentum soared before making the trip to our Stock Up event. The Lincoln Northeast junior traveled to GJNC with Nebraska ONE 16 Black and guided her crew through the 16 Freedom field in Indianapolis. The Lincoln-based club has always churned out incredible setter depth, and Sumner added to the narrative among the 2028s. We've seen the Elkhorn South junior on the showcase circuit before. However, Sumner keeps rewriting narratives through her persistent improvement and effort from one outing to the next. Indeed, the Lincoln North Star underclassman doesn't have to command the second contacts to have an impact. Davis has also enjoyed attacking stints on the right side to put her athleticism into focus. Bauer is another perennial Prep Dig Showcase star who has elevated her play in each stage of her journey. She played up a year with this year's VCNebraska 16 White group, and the move paid dividends at big venues like Kansas City's Show Me Qualifier. But Bauer's setting prowess applies to any venue, including the central Nebraska confines of Grand Island Northwest. Beckler thereby joined the Cornhusker crew from Minnesota, adding to the incredible cast of setters we saw last Saturday. The future Skutt Catholic SkyHawk showed the poise and consistency that has kept her on top-tier teams in the Nebraska Elite gym. Aside from her knack for running an offense, Reverts was among the most physical distributors we saw in the La Vista gym.
