We’re always excited to see some central Nebraska entrants at our Omaha-area showcases, especially if they’re making repeat trips to the circuit. Bauer returned for another outing after standing out at July’s Freshman Showcase in La Vista. She reminded us of her mature feel for tempo and the iron-clad connections she forms with middle blockers. Grand Island Northwest will find a few different ways to utilize Bauer’s talents, even if it involves some trips as a frontcourt hitter. This athletic freshman embodies the range and quickness we’d expect from a standout in the VCNebraska gym.
