Stock Up: Middles Ready to Make Their Mark

At 6-foot-1, she has the size you want in a pin, but I'm looking forward to seeing the other parts of her game this weekend. I want to see how she impacts the match defensively at the net, as well as how comfortable she looks defending and passing in the back row. She has the size and skill set to take another step forward this fall and become an even bigger presence on the court. She is particularly strong attacking 3-balls or 31 sets, where she does a good job getting into the gap and putting plenty of pace on the ball. She hits the ball hard and has a strong cross-court attack that can be difficult to defend. She's springy and athletic in the middle, allowing her to play above the net and be a factor on both sides of the ball. I love how well she moves laterally along the net and closes on blocks, consistently putting herself in a good position to take away space from opposing hitters. Offensively, she's a force who can attack with pace and also loves that gap ball. Her combination of athleticism, movement and ability to impact the game at the net makes her an exciting middle to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
