The MN Stock Up Showcase brought together a talented group of players looking to make an impression heading into the fall. From attackers finding creative ways to score, setters showcasing their court awareness, and defenders making crazy good plays in the backcourt, the Class of 2027 continues to prove it is a group worth watching. Below are a few players who stood out and saw their stock rise heading into the high school season.

Remember to follow me on Instagram @Prepdigamy and Facebook @PrepDig Amy for up to date event coverage, stories, and more.

Walsh was one of the players I was looking forward to seeing at the showcase. Being Austin's first ever All State volleyball player, I knew she had put in a lot of work to get where she is. Once play started, it was easy to see why. She is solid in serve receive, moves well defensively, and does a great job covering her hitters. What impressed me most was how well she read the game. She seemed to know where the ball was going before it got there, which allowed her to get herself in position to make some really nice defensive plays. She does many of the little things well and that is what makes her such a valuable player on the court.

I have had the chance to watch Corson quite a bit over the past two years since she plays in the same conference that I coach in, so I was excited to see her again at the showcase. She's been a steady libero for Fillmore Central and continues to do all of the little things well. You can tell she has been coached the right way. She gets her platform out early, moves efficiently, and does a great job reading hitters and anticipating where the ball is going. In addition, she chased down everything, never gave up on a play, and brought a steady presence to the back row. Those skills really stood out at the showcase.

Davis was one of the pins who stood out to me at the showcase. She is a really athletic player who moves well and seems to be around the ball all the time. What I liked most was that she doesn't rely on just one type of attack. She knew when to take a big swing, when to go off speed, and when to use the block to her advantage. She also wasn't afraid to attack down the line when she saw it open. Throughout the showcase, she looked comfortable reading the defense and adjusting instead of forcing swings. She is a smart, versatile attacker who has the ability to score in a variety of ways.

Meyers was one of the setters who caught my attention right away at the showcase. She has good hands, does a nice job of getting her feet to the ball, and consistently puts her hitters in good positions to score. What I liked most, though, was that she didn't stop after setting. She played solid defense, hustled after every ball, and showed that she contributes in multiple ways. Meyers is the kind of setter who brings steady play and makes those around her better.

Porisch was a fun middle to watch at the showcase. She has a nice combination of quick feet and a fast arm swing that gives her the ability to be effective at the net. She gets off the floor well, moves well from side to side, and shows good athleticism. She also plays with a lot of energy and competes hard, putting forth a solid effort when she is on the court.

Johnson was one of the more solid 6 rotation players I watched at the showcase. She consistently found ways to score, whether it was changing her shot at the last second, swinging around the block, or mixing in an off speed attack. She also proved to be effective in both out of system and backrow attacking. Johnson also contributed with solid serving and reliable serve receive showcasing that she is a player that will impact the game in every rotation.
