To then turn those not-so-perfect passes into hittable balls is something not every setter can do, let alone do it at the height Miss Peacock carries. Not quite the biggest setter out there, but she makes up for it with lightning fast feet and strong, quick hands that can be deceptive at times. Savvy and defensive-minded, Claire's ability to defend her position better than most got her this attention, while also having the skill to run a 5-1 offense in any tempo from any pass at any time. With that under-the-radar play, she got her team to be MUCH more successful than expected, making the hitters around her much better than their recruiting rankings would otherwise have them. Her athleticism, coupled with an ability to find the right hitter in the right situation, should carry her well into recruitable territory.
