Newly Added Sensational Setters in the 2028 Ranking List

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The State Rankings release is here!!! We have unveiled the top 101 players in this latest publishing of the 2028 class. [player_tooltip player_id='519325' first='Bianca' last='Mohr'] can. The 5'9" frame she brings to the setter position creates deception at the release point that most blockers have difficulty solving and when she steps into the front row as an opposite she attacks with real conviction rather than going through the motions. Her tempo selection shows awareness of what the block is giving her and she adjusts rather than defaulting to a comfortable call when the pass is clean. The right side attacking she provides gives an offense a dimension that most systems at this level cannot generate from the setter position and college programs that prioritize lineup flexibility should have her name on their list. She reached the UIL 4A Division II state championship final last season, which means the big moments of Texas high school volleyball are not new to her. The dual-position value she provides is rare in this class and the ranking she earned reflects the totality of what she brings to the floor. It is the efficiency. Her footwork is clean and she arrives at the ball in a position to make a real decision rather than a desperate one. The sets come out with consistent location that her hitters respond to immediately and the variety she shows reflects a setter who is processing the game rather than reacting to it. She reads the block before she releases and the adjustments she makes between sets are the kind of detail that separates setters who run plays from those who run an offense. She has produced wins over Georgetown, Legacy Ranch, Lake Creek, and Killeen this season, which tells you the production holds up across a full competitive schedule. This ranking was coming. At 5'8" in the class of 2028, the release point she generates already creates problems for opposing defenders. The footwork she brings to difficult passes is efficient and she has been developing her ability to set against the flow of the pass well as of late. The communication she maintains with the offense is constant and purposeful and the trust she builds within a system quickly reflects a player who understands that setting is as much about relationships as it is about mechanics. Scouts who have watched her this season have pointed to her composure when the first contact is bad as one of the more advanced qualities in her game, because she resets and executes rather than forcing. The ceiling here is real and the ranking she earned is the start of a conversation that should only get louder as the class of 2028 develops.
