Regional weekend is finally upon us, and each of the four classes have plenty to offer in the way of high-end volleyball. Let's start with the biggest class of schools, where two top-ten matches happen, plus an upstart looking to continue their own Cinderella story.

If you want high efficiency, look no further than Carsyn, the state's highest remaining hitting percentage in any class. The Louisville commit is long, lean, and nearly impossible to stop when in system. What separates her from the rest of the middles in this class is her ability to crank it up a notch when the lights are the brightest. Is this the year Westfield can make it to State? Carsyn will be the main reason why.

Although too young to receive a commitment yet, Gia is well on her way to being one of the first recruits off of the board for the class of ‘29. Her overall dynamic play, athleticism and high volleyball IQ makes her look and play at a far more mature level than her fellow sophomores. Let's not forget the fact that EVERYONE in the gym knows who's getting the ball for the Raiders, and Miss Stokes' success is all the more amazing.

Center Grove has been hovering in the top ten of 4A all season, while Brownsburg just produced the biggest upset during sectional weekend by knocking off the defending 4A runners-up (Plainfield). The Bulldogs are on an absolute heater, playing their best ball at the best time of year. The Trojans, however, have been the steady win producer all season long, including a win over the Bulldogs in four sets a month ago. This is a different squad in purple, though, and should turn out to be one of the better matches of the weekend.

Allison's middle play has been unsung for quite some time, but this fall has REALLY opened the eyes of this author. Long, lean and athletic, Miss Bourff's commitment to Ohio University seemed inevitable by those in her inner circle. For those that aren't familiar, Allison is as good of an M1 as an M2, and will be leaned upon early and often to go against the middles of CG on Saturday.
