The State Rankings release is here!!! We have unveiled the top 82 players in this latest publishing of the 2028 class. We have been watching the 2028 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.

Ana's addition to the Prep Dig California Class of 2028 State Ranking List will surprise no one who watched her earn an award at the Durango Fall Classic, where scouts walked away talking about her. At 5'10", she is a libero with a hitter's frame and that length lets her pass balls through her midline that would pull most players off their platforms. Her hands come from real setter training and they are some of the cleanest you will find on a defensive player anywhere in California or the nation for that matter. Ask her to set from deep in the court and the ball still arrives hittable. Defensively, she plays low in her base, reads the attacker's approach angle, and keeps every ball up and high instead of firing it back over. Her energy is constant and never dips with the score. Utah found a rare libero who can also run an offense. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Plenty of outside hitters can block, but few block like a middle and Michelle certainly does. Her time in the middle taught her to read the setter early, close with crossover footwork, and seal with wide, penetrating hands and the UC Irvine commit brings all of that to the pins. That same background makes her deadly on quick tempo, especially attacking fast balls from the right side. Her arm is lightning fast with a high elbow, which lets her disguise a hard angle. She also can hit a high hands tool and a short roll into the middle behind the same windup. That will certainly make her very dangerous as she can be very deceptive with her attack. She also adjusts her approach timing on sets that come inside which is a level of tempo awareness most players do not develop until college. Her urgency is contagious and the pace of the gym rises whenever she is on the floor. Of all the players added to the California 2028 state rankings in this update, she may have the most ways to score and her spot on the list is richly deserved. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Kara rarely needs to hit hard to score. The 5'8" outside reads the block, finds the hands, and places the ball into the deep corners and short seams with a precise wrist snap. Her passing has the exact same touch. A quiet platform, reliable hands out of system, and court vision that finds the open spot before the ball is set tells me that she has all around skills that translate to the beach very well. In transition she gets off the net quickly and gives her setter a real option and on defense she takes away the hitter's favorite shot by getting there early. None of this is accidental. Boas is a Pepperdine beach commit who has already finished third at a P1440 Futures Tour event in Arizona and two-person volleyball has sharpened every one of those skills. Hats off to Kara on joining the Prep Dig California Class of 2028 State Ranking List. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at Michael@prepdig.com. You can also DM me in Instagram and X by searching @CoachMikeDZ. Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following us, Prep Dig Family! Don't be afraid to interact with us. We love the likes, shares, and quotes/comments. Keep them coming!

If You Enjoyed This Article, Help Us Keep the Momentum Going

🔥 Athletes
Update your PrepDig Prospect Index profile so it's complete and current, with a photo, your club, your school and your latest film.
