With Fulshear operating in system most of the time, Watson was constantly set in the middle, and she didn't disappoint, establishing herself as the team's most reliable scorer. Except for a moment at the start of the third set in which she made consecutive errors, her offense was very consistent and allowed her to score with ease. Watson's footwork and athleticism found no answer across the net, and she was particularly difficult to stop when hitting the slide set.
