She knows well, when and where to swing to find holes in the defense and put points on the board for her team. Great off the jump both with hitting and blocking while also being an offensive threat when in the back court, which is a compliment to her solid passing and digging skills. She definitely brings a lot to the table for her team.

IG - @devan.rolling

Jesuit has TWO very talented setters running their high-powered offense. With so many outstanding hitters, being able to use Thompson and Gunderson to distribute the ball to all those options, makes it so tough for opponents to know what is coming at any given moment. Both setters have great body movements and excellent hands to go with their smart decision making skills. Both are excellent communicators while on the court and both give an added threat with their second ball attacks and solid serving from behind the end line.

IG - @skylar_thompson_vb2028

IG - @emily_volleyball_setter

McMINNVILLE HS

Hawley brings excellent ball control and pursuit skills on defense to the court. She has great balanced body position and solid platform in serve receive lanes. She plays with a lot of energy and passion, doing whatever she can to help her team to keep the ball in play. Also has a very aggressive serve from behind the end line.

IG - @lyndlee.hawley2029

MOUNTAINSIDE HS

Mafinejad, who is new to the libero position, transitioning from outside hitter, is doing an outstanding job of taking on her new role both within the serve receive lanes and defensively. She showcased her great balance and body control throughout the day, as well as her solid passing platform and use of hands. This University of Portland commit is extremely fast off the jump, reaches high and can score anywhere around the court. She'll power through a block, find hands for a touch out of play, swing down quick in the seam or keep you off balance with a smart off-speed shot. She brings an outstanding all around game in all six rotations, whether its swinging offensively or putting up a big block at the net, or even scoring points from the back court while also showing consistency with serve receive or digging on defense.

IG - @isabella__marie__h

Mountainside is really showing balance offensively with lots of great hitters. And Thompson is the talented setter who has really taken the lead to disperse the ball to all those great hitters. She has such a great touch on the ball and is very consistent with her decision-making and set placement. Lots of fun watching her move the ball around, keeping the opponents off balance, while also creating many one-on-one scoring opportunities for her hitters. Does a great job defensively and behind the service line as well.

IG - @danikathompson_vb
