Just Getting Started: Names in the 2030 Rankings

Over 80 players made their way into the rankings, each bringing a different skill set, level of versatility, and plenty of potential to the court. These athletes are still early in their high school careers, which makes what they are already showing even more impressive. There is a lot of volleyball ahead of them and plenty of time to grow, develop, and continue adding to their games. She works hard to get off the net, create space, and make herself available as an attacking option while staying out of her setter's way. She is still learning and growing into the position, but the foundation is there. The young attacker is feisty, competitive, and brings plenty of heat with her swing. She already shows the ability to vary her shots, find open court, and use her power to put pressure on opposing defenses. Nyembwe also does a great job getting off the floor and using her vertical to her advantage. She is one of those players who can, and probably has, played just about every position on the court. She can set, attack out of the middle, and take swings from either pin, giving her team plenty of options. While the season is just getting underway, she wasted little time showing she belongs at the varsity level. In a 3-0 season opening sweep of Kenyon-Wanamingo, Dierkes finished with 15 assists, one ace, and three digs. Getting the opportunity to run an offense and compete at a high level this early in her career should only accelerate her development. She gained valuable varsity experience there last season, racking up kills and proving she can contribute at a high level. Tut has impressive hops, an array of shots to choose from, and already understands when and how to use them. She will be a big part of her team's offense this season, and with several years still ahead of her, she has plenty of time to continue developing and expanding her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
