Movin On Up - 2027 State Ranked Stock Risers

The State Rankings release is here!!! We have unveiled the top 158 players in this latest publishing of the 2027 class. We have been watching the 2027 class very closely throughout the entire club & high school season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up in the rankings due to their individual performances.    Lexi committed to TCU recently and this reflects a player who has been evaluated at the highest level of volleyball scouting and held up well every time. We, at Prep Dig, have described her as long and powerful and what that means technically is a player who generates a contact point at the height of her approach that most defensive systems cannot handle without elite blocking timing. At 6'2" on the left pin, the combination of length and arm speed gives her the ability to attack sharp angles down the line and crosscourt that shorter hitters cannot access from the same set location. Her First Team All-District 4-6A recognition came in a district that produces legitimate Division I talent and the USA Volleyball NTDP participation puts her in elite training environments where the standard of play reveals exactly how a player projects at the next level. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be an immediate impact player once she gets to TCU. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved movement in the Ranking List.     Lola is a left-handed setter who stands 6'1" and runs a fast tempo jump set and the combination of those three attributes creates a defensive problem that very few blocking systems at the prep level are built to solve consistently. When you watch her set from her 6'1" height with a jump set that eliminates telegraphing, the block is almost always guessing. All of our Prep Dig scouts have specifically noted that it becomes a genuine guessing game for opponents, giving the offense a sustainable edge that compounds over the course of a long match. She is a six-rotation setter who has been trusted to stay on the floor in all positions, and her ability to contribute as an offensive threat on the right side adds a blocking and attacking dimension that most setters cannot provide. She is ranked 15th in the state and producing at that level while running a very complex offensive system in North Texas club volleyball with [program_tooltip program_id='475085' first='1United' last=''] 17N Blue. The production numbers that [player_tooltip player_id='947318' first='Willtrace' last='Ngoh'] posted in her junior season at Seven Lakes, 150 blocks across the full year alongside more than 250 kills, reflect a middle blocker whose reading ability and first-step quickness are generating consistent net impact rather than just physical presence. Her head coach Amy Cataline said plainly she has never seen some of the things Ngoh does on the court in her entire coaching career and that evaluation from a coach who sees her every day carries more weight than almost anything a scout can observe from the stands. She earned District 19-6A Blocker of the Year honors, broke the Seven Lakes school blocking record, competed with the USA U19 Women's National Team, and is listed on the America's 200 national prospect list. What makes those numbers especially compelling is that she has only been playing organized volleyball for a few years. The blocking timing, the closing angle, the explosive first step off the net, the ability to cover the pins when the hitter adjusts, all of that is developing in a player who is still in the very early stages of understanding the position. She committed to USC and the Trojans are getting one of the most athletically gifted middle blockers in the entire 2027 class.
