Evie Jaworsky has been impressive in her freshman varsity debut, leading Golden’s defense with 3.9 digs per set and 196 reception attempts this fall. Jaworsky has taken on a major role in serve receive, covering a large portion of the court and taking pressure off her hitters while remaining relentless defensively. She is quick on her feet, reads opposing attackers well, and consistently puts herself in a position to make quality plays. With several years of high school volleyball still ahead of her, Jaworsky is already establishing herself as one of the top young liberos in her class and a key piece of Golden’s success.
