The top 18 schools in 3A are moving on into the state playoffs this week, starting this Wednesday, with top seeded Burns and Dayton receiving byes. They await play-in games of the lowest seeds of the 18-team tournament, that will be played on Wednesday Oct. 28th. The second round games will take place on Saturday, Oct. 31st, with top eight schools playing as hosts to lower seeds -- Burns, Dayton, Caitlin Gable, Sisters, Creswell, Westside Christian, Santiam Christian and Coquille high schools. A total of eight final teams will then earn their way to the State Tournament final site, being hosted for the 3A event this year at Marshfield High School on the Oregon coast in Coos Bay on Nov. 7-8 (<strong><a href="https://www.osaa.org/activities/gvb/brackets">OSAA Brackets</a></strong>).
