Southeast Kansas Surprises: Class of 2021

<p>Southeast Kansas is a place for hidden gems. Big Brutus, The Mall Deli, and Palluccas are three such places.</p> <p>Not to be outdone, the Class of 2021 has some volleyball players worth seeing. Here is a look at some of the top-ranked players to watch plays games in Southeast Kansas.</p> <p><strong>MH, [player_tooltip player_id="105530" first="Evie" last="Scoles"], 5’11”, Caney Valley (Ranked No. 50)</strong> – Scoles can play just about any position on the court. The 5’11” senior shines at MB, OH, and MH, so pick a spot for her. She has 106 standing block reach and attacks the ball aggressively.</p> <p><strong>S, [player_tooltip player_id="105564" first="Millie" last="Stockard"], 5’10”, Colgan (Ranked No. 82)</strong>– Colgan is a football powerhouse, but don’t sleep on the Panther Volleyball Squad. Stockard, a 5’10” setter runs the Colgan offense. She is a quality student-athlete who enjoys competing.</p> <p><strong>S, [player_tooltip player_id="105598" first="Gracen" last="Hipfl"], 5’7”, Frontenac  (Ranked No. 115) –</strong> Frontenac is coming off a solid 2019 season and the Hipfl sisters played a key role in that success. Gracen has soft hands and communicates well on the court.</p> <p><strong>OH, [player_tooltip player_id="105599" first="Reagan" last="Hipfl"], 5’7”, Frontenac (Ranked No. 47)</strong> – Reagan has a compact swing and an uncanny ability to find holes in the opposition’s defense. She has a solid approach to the net and able to make adjustments on the fly.</p> <p>Other Southeastern Kansas seniors to keep an eye on include: OH, Jarien Burns, Parsons; L, Makaila Ausemus, Girard; MH, Kennedy Krokroskia, Baxter Springs; OH, and S, Emma Berry, Riverton.</p>
