Week four of high school play has come to a close so now it is time to spotlight some players who did BIG things as a top performer for their team. First up, 6A…
[caption id="attachment_128396" align="alignleft" width="150"] Photo: OJVA[/caption]
2024 [player_tooltip player_id="126030" first="Adrienne" last="Nguyen"], 5’5", DS, St. Mary’s Academy, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy

As one of two freshmen on the St. Mary’s Academy Blues Varsity roster, Nguyen is making an immediate impact on the team. Although trained as a libero most of her career, she has been setting a 6-2, alongside 2021 sister [player_tooltip player_id="91118" first="Zoe" last="Nguyen"], for the Blues. While her assists stats have not been recorded, it is safe to say she would have a good number of them. Assists aside, in their match against Canby alone she racked up 15 digs and served a perfect game, with 11 attempts, 2 aces, and 0 errors. The Blues are currently 1-7.
[caption id="attachment_137988" align="alignleft" width="150"] Photo: OSAA[/caption]
2023 [player_tooltip player_id="91357" first="Mia" last="Fedota"], 6’2", MB, St. Mary’s Academy, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy

The 6’2” sophomore middle blocker Fedota is a dominant force for the St. Mary’s Academy Blues. In their match versus Canby she totalled up 4 blocks and hit a .800, with 10 attempts, 8 kills, and 0 errors. The Blues are currently 1-7.

[caption id="attachment_137223" align="alignleft" width="150"] Photo: Central Catholic[/caption]
2023 [player_tooltip player_id="91328" first="Sofia" last="Cooper"], 5’10", OH, Central Catholic High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy

Sophomore middle blocker Cooper is a force for the Central Catholic High School Rams, and a top performer for the second week in a row. In her matches last week she hit a .333, with 27 attempts, 12 kills and only 3 errors. She also racked up 4 blocks.
