In each regional, the #1 seed (team listed first) will be the host school.
Regional #1– #1 ranked Community Christian, Sharon-Mutual/Taloga, Snyder, Cement, and Indiahoma.
My prediction for this region is Community Christian not losing a set. 2024 OH Landry Braziel Landry Braziel 6'0" | OH Community Christian | 2024 State OK has been dominant all year and will continue that trend. Community Christian has played a tough schedule this season, which has prepared them for this time of the year.
Regional #2– Cascia Hall, Metro Christian, Oklahoma Christian Academy, and Braggs.
Cascia Hall has not lost a tournament match this season, 20-0. My prediction is they get two more wins in this regional tournament, advance to state, and will be eyeing the state championship match. Look for 2023 MB Annie Koenig for Metro Christian to play a big role in getting to the regional championship against Cascia.
Regional #3– Rejoice Christian, Crossings Christian, Harding Fine Arts, and Millwood.
Rejoice Christian has played some tough teams in the last few weeks, but they are resilient and it will only fuel them for playoffs. Coach Briscoe does a great job of getting the most out of every one of his players and having his team prepared for big games. Crossings is a team that plays in the brutal Chisholm Trail Conference. They may only have eight wins but they are 3-2 against 3A schools this year. Their only two losses were to Community Christian. My prediction is that despite Crossings being ranked #14, they get the win in a tough five-set match with Rejoice.
Regional #4– Oklahoma Union, Sequoyah (Claremore), Yale, and Sperry.
My prediction is that OK Union will beat Sequoyah (Claremore) for the fourth time this season and punch their ticket to state.
Regional #5– Okay, Amber-Pocasset, Star Spencer, and Hulbert.
Okay has Lexi Erb Lexi Erb 6'0" | MB Okay | 2022 State OK at OH and they will get her the ball no matter where she is. She will be key to the Mustangs making it into the state tournament. If she plays well, they will be tough to beat. My prediction is Okay wins in the 4th set against a stingy AM-PO team from the west side of the state.
Regional #6– Chouteau-Maize, Westville, Chisholm, and Hennessey.
My prediction is Chouteau-Maize gets the win in four sets. The home crowd and gym acoustics make for a loud and rowdy place to play. Look for that to give them the edge over Westville.
Regional #7– Erick, Salina, Southwest Covenant, Temple, and Tipton.
My prediction is the 4 1/2 hour drive across the state for Salina will drain them and SW Covenant will get the upset and allow them to play Erick for the championship. SW Covenant will be riding on a ton of momentum, get the second upset in 3A, and make it to the final 8. I had the chance to see and play against them early in the season and when they click, they can make it really tough on teams.
Regional #8– Summit Christian, Corn Bible, Sequoyah (Tahlequah), and Wesleyan Christian.
My prediction is that 2023 OH Chloe Nelson comes in clutch for Corn Bible, despite the long drive to the east side of the state. They are used to long drives for games. The Crusaders just missed out on the state tournament last year. The tenacity and heart they bring will get them the 8/9 upset on the road over the host team, Summit Christian.
