Playing one age group up, Laing had a significant role with the AVA TX 18 Adidas team that finished second in the 18 Open division with six wins and two losses. Splitting time on the court with Bea Angeles Bea Angeles Bea Angeles 5'3" | DS/L Manvel | 2024 State TX , she was very active and displayed great command of the backcourt. Laing was very consistent with her passing and covered a lot of ground with great confidence. She also made digs in key moments of matches, giving her team an extra opportunity to score. The libero also played with great energy, pushing her teammates and keeping the team engaged.

Another defensive-minded pin hitter, the 5’8″ Laing emerged as a very interesting player during the last season. She’s very efficient offensively, finding ways to score despite her limited size, most of the time with well-placed tips or by hitting around the block. She’s an even more productive player on the backcourt, where her technical skills and intelligence really show when she’s playing defense or passing.
