Houston Stop 1 Top 250 Expo Top Performers: Outsides

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Everyone had a lot of fun at the Prep Dig Top 250 Expo in Houston on Sunday, with players, coaches and scouts all leaving the event full of excitement with the high level of play and the incredible energy seen on the courts at TAV Houston.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The event, however, didn't end on Sunday as now it's time we recognize and give a shoutout to the players who impressed the most with their skills. Few players in her class have the offensive power she does, combining unbelievable athleticism and incredible resources. The Top 250 Expo was a great opportunity to see how Rogers has developed in other areas of her game. Jones is very technical, surprisingly explosive and has an outstanding body control. She's a hitter that combines just the right amount of power and finesse on her swings, scoring at a high clip and rarely making mistakes. She was standing out among some very good players with her solid game and drawing a lot of attention from those watching. Bonner-Williams certainly looks taller than her listed height of 5'8u0022 when she's on the court and that's because she jumps really well and has long arms. She played in all three front positions while I was there and did so at a really high level, displaying some impressive versatility. Phills is a scoring force as she can jump well and has an incredibly heavy right arm, which she often uses to overpower opposing blocks. She's also a basketball, softball and track and field student-athlete and all the hard work she puts in on those sports helps her on the court as she's an incredibly athletic and explosive prospect. Glover was playing against much-taller opponents and she never backed off, jumping out of the gym and hitting the ball hard every time she was set.
