<p>We are super proud to unveil the first release of the 2026 State Rankings List. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='209539' first='Lacy' last='Tinnell'] [2026] 6-4 Middle (HS: College Park/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>

<p>Please welcome Miss Tinnell officially to the State Rankings. Lacy is currently ranked as the 12th best overall prospect and 3rd best middle in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball for College Park High School in the Woodlands area of north Houston and also plays for the nationally recognized Houston Skyline club program. Every coach in the country knows that you cannot to teach height and Miss Tinnell has tons of it. She clogs up the middle with the best of them slowing down everything that comes her way. Middles can do a lot for a team with their long reach and Lacy's arms are some of the longest in her age group with a 95 inch standing reach. She uses those lengthy extremities to press over the net and seal it from would be attackers. I love how she drives her arms during her up swing in order to create a lot of momentum in her attack. It really does add a lot of pace to her hit. A lot of younger hitters only know one tempo of their arm swing and it leads to a lot of errors, but Lacy uses great court vision to see open spots on her opponents and scores with tips to zone four. We are very proud to have her listed in our State Rankings. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='300846' first='Danielle' last='Whitmire'] [2026] 6-1 Setter (HS: Prosper/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please welcome Miss Whitmire officially to the State Rankings. Danielle is currently ranked as the 13th best overall prospect and 3rd best setter in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Prosper High School and also for the nationally recognized [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball club. There are setters and then there are technicians who deliver pinpoint accurate sets. Danielle is one of those technical snipers who can thread the needle to all locations over and over. Her hands are identical mirror images of each other during her contact and release, which results in consistent results. I love how her posture hardly ever changes during different sets. This kind of replication of posture keeps her opposing middle blockers honest and not able to cheat towards one direction or the other. That is very high-level technique from a very young setter and every coach in the country is going to love it when they watch her in action. She is just a woman playing against girls and it is so fun to watch her distribute the ball at such a high level although only being a freshman. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot as a top player in the state of Texas. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='235997' first='Cali' last='Reece'] [2026] 5-6 Libero (HS: Grand Oaks/Club: TAV Houston/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Please welcome Miss Reece officially to the State Rankings. Cali is currently ranked as the 17th best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Grand Oaks High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball Houston club. Liberos are known to be the type of player who will run through a wall in order to keep the ball alive for their team. They are as tough as nails and unbreakable. This is exactly who Cali is as a libero and will fly all around the court even if her legs fall off of her body. She is the epitome of tough and is no stranger to playing with bumps and bruises without complaining. Every college coach in the country should see how tough she is and we know that they will love it just as much as we do when we cover her. She has exceptional ball control and is called up on to handle primary passer duties for her talented squad. While a lot of liberos play very erratic while digging emergency balls, Cali can be seen to be very calm with her platform. This kind of calmness with her arms allows the ball to rebound well and stay controlled as it is directed towards her setter. She creates great angles during hard driven balls and also a very soft contact, which keeps the ball on her side of the net. Her team has almost no anxiety as they know she will keep the ball from hitting the floor if it is anywhere near her zone. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our State Rankings. </p>
