Mintonette has been on a rampage all year long. They have been unstoppable since last year's GJNCs. They will face off against [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']' last=''] 15N Green who has some major athletes. They will have to be consistent from now on and that all starts with [player_tooltip player_id='254165' first='Jaidyn' last='Hartsfield']. A huge utility player for her team, she can do it all: pass, set, hit, and block. She will have to be a powerhouse on the pin and make some big plays. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='305666' first='Katelyn' last='Vo'] will be another playmaker to watch out for. Her decision-making and tempo are one of the reasons that her team can compete in Open. If all pieces come together for [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='[program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']' last=''] tomorrow, we could see one of the first Texas teams advance.

Alamo 15 Premier vs. Pohaku 15-1

Alamo 15 Premier has kept surprising us all season. They got an at-large bid in 15 open and finished 4th in their pool with some serious talent. After dropping their first two games, they have now won 3 in a row, playing sensational today. Outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id='318145' first='Jaylyn' last='Tuiasosopo'] was so versatile today in her scoring and seemed to find the floor on almost every play. Defensive stand-out [player_tooltip player_id='395193' first='Addi' last='Reus'] is proving why she should be in the conversation as one of the top liberos in Texas. This match-up with Pohaku will be one to watch. These teams match up well athletically, and both are a tough team to break down mentally.

TAV Houston 15 Adidas vs. Az Rev 15 Premier

This is a huge game for both teams, with a spot in gold on the line. Both teams both have to bypass Circle City 15 Purple, who are very good in their own respect. TAV Houston has dominant right-side hitter [player_tooltip player_id='224309' first='Mia' last='Crowley'] who has been lethal from the pin this season. If she has an on day, it will be a problem for Az Rev. It should be a battle of the liberos between Az Rev and TAV Houston. [player_tooltip player_id='235997' first='Cali' last='Reece'] is a defensive stud and a sound serve receiver. This will truly be a game of ball control as both teams have very good middles. TAV Houston has 3 strong middles, [player_tooltip player_id='254288' first='Peytyn' last='Pyle'], [player_tooltip player_id='254237' first='Kansas' last='Lamar'], and [player_tooltip player_id='254272' first='Madyson' last='Carr'].
