We've already passed our high school season, and club tryouts are mostly complete. With the release of our new-and-improved rankings, we have five pin attackers that are still available for the class of '25. Each of these kids are worth the price of admission, and should be earning offers this coming spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='161191' first='Taylor' last='Cripe'], 5-10 OH, South Newton, Boiler Juniors

Heavy-armed and full of talent, Taylor is a First Team All-State honoree that led the Rebels in kills and hitting percentage this past fall. Her pass-to-attack skills are upper-level, she's got an innate knack for the game and rarely makes unforced errors. As a primary passing outside, Taylor is responsible for the majority of her team's success, no matter what roster she's on, and has no problem with that responsibility.

[player_tooltip player_id='172312' first='Kendall' last='Brookbank'], 5-8 OH, Perry Meridian, Circle City

Kendall is an explosive outside with springs for legs. Her quick arm swing is high and hard, regularly blasting off of the top of the block. As an undersized primary passing outside, Kendall should be an exceptional find for a smaller school looking for an athlete in the class of '25 that shouldn't ever need to come out of the game, as Perry's success came with her constantly and consistently making positive plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='172321' first='Grace' last='Isakson'], 5-8 OH, North Central, Team Indiana

There are advantages and disadvantages of having a veteran squad around you in high school. The advantage, obviously, is the experience. North Central's TWELVE seniors led to an amazing 29-win season for the Panthers, easily one of their best years ever. The disadvantage is that not a lot of playing time is seen at the varsity level because of that experience ahead of you. Cue [player_tooltip player_id='172321' first='Grace' last='Isakson'], an athletic pin attacker who can put balls away from anywhere. This spring is huge for her, and her full schedule playing in the Mideast Power League and traveling to AAUs in Florida should be plenty of training to get her to the level she's capable of.

[player_tooltip player_id='192102' first='Ava' last='Kissel'], 5-8 RS, Tecumseh, Metro

As a three-sport stud for the Braves, Ava is used to being athletic. And now, with back-to-back appearances in the 1A title match at Ball State, she's shown the rest of Indiana what she's capable of. Her quick swing and jumping ability has her hammering all sizes of blocks out of the middle, but she looks more like a right side to these eyes at the next level. In last week's title match against Southwood, she had 13 kills and 4 blocks. Against Blackhawk Christian in '22, she had 12 kills and 3 blocks. Be mindful that the '22 match had her head-to-head with 6-3 MB and Dayton signee [player_tooltip player_id='230528' first='Abbie' last='Cresse']. Ava is more than capable of performing on the big stage, and has the athleticism and volleyball acuity to learn and grow at the same time. I look forward to her development this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='161657' first='Sophia' last='Barber'], 6-0 OH, NorthWood, Michigan Elite

We've been talking about average-sized primary passing outsides during this article, so why not talk about a kid that does that, but three inches taller than the rest? Sophia is a smooth and athletic left side that can receive serve with some of the best and put balls away regularly when needed. She could play anything from a three rotation left side, a three rotation right side or that primary passing outside that most college coaches covet. Her training and schedule at MI Elite should take her to new heights this spring, and I look forward to her continued success.

We've already passed our high school season, and club tryouts are mostly complete. With the release of our new-and-improved rankings, we have five pin attackers that are still available for the class of '25. Each of these kids are worth the price of admission, and should be earning offers this coming spring.
