Yates (pictured) had her swing speed measured between 48 and 49 miles per hour with a top speed of 52. Yates generates a lot of power behind balls sending them screaming to the ground. The Cardinals have some question marks surrounding her this fall with some key players graduating, but head coach Stephen Zink and staff generally find ways to prepare the team well. She’ll put a number of balls down if the Cardinals consistently get into a good rhythm.

Yates (pictured) has flat out been smoking the ball all club season. Her club coach recently measured the swing speed of Yates and her teammates. Yates averaged between 48 and 49 miles per hour with a top speed of 52. Her size makes, form and wrist snap make a huge difference. Yates picks her spots so well that even solid blockers and defensive specialists have trouble picking the balls up. Even if defensive specialists put a nice wall on her hits, there is no guarantee balls will carom back to the targets in the front row. Yates will have a monster season for Taylor County if the Cardinals get into rhythm consistently.
