Barntsen (pictured) is simply dynamite when balls come to her hands. She has adjusted well to primarily setting in a 5-1 system in club season compared to doing a lot of everything in a 6-2 system at Sayre. MAVA 17 Select head coach Dan Palmer described her as a wonderful person who is catching onto concepts and implementing them quickly at a very high level. Barntsen can execute the jump quick and jump shoot sets so efficiently opponents can’t blink or balls go whizzing by them. Barntsen is also blocking at a high level. She has great range on the court to track down balls, has a solid jump serve and can still take big swings when needed for 17 Select.
