Cam is a very physical pin prospect in the Texas Class of 2028 who brings length, power, and positional versatility to the front row. At 6’0” (and still growing), she presents a strong frame and plays with confidence anywhere you want to use her in the rotation, giving coaches flexibility in lineup construction. Corso shows the ability to score at a high point, using solid arm speed and range to challenge blocks from multiple attack angles. She would be a “go to” hitter in any age group and on any squad. There is a reason she has played up an age group for the past few years in the Open division. Her timing continues to improve, allowing her to be more efficient in transition and on out-of-system swings. Defensively, she uses her size well at the net and shows an increasing understanding of blocking responsibilities. In the back row, she competes with intent and continues to refine her all-around game. As her consistency and physical development progress, Corso projects as a high-ceiling attacker with the tools to be a difference-maker at higher levels of play. I have gotten to know this young lady over the past few years during our showcases and I can honestly say that she is one of the most genuine young ladies I have ever met. Any school would be grateful to have her in their locker room.

Miss Corso is currently ranked as the 3rd best overall prospect in the 2028 class according to our Texas State Rankings and proved every bit of it during the showcase. She plays volleyball at Reedy High School and also for the Texas Advantage Volleyball club. Even though we just wrote an article on her prior to the showcase, Cam really earned every word that has been said or will be said with who she is as a person and player. I was blessed to meet her parents at the end of the session as they came up to shake my hand and I really enjoyed it. She comes from two fabulous parents who really are doing a fantastic job of raising a young woman who will go far in life. In the previous article, we mentioned how her personality is loved by teammates and coaches and this is exactly what happened again. We do not have favorite players at all as coaches, however, let’s just say that Cam is a true joy to have in the gym for the few hours that we get to spend with her. There is a reason that she is ranked so high and has been playing up an age group in the open division…she is just that good! I would strongly encourage any college coach be ready to contact her the moment it is possible because they will be very pleased at who they get to know. We love everything about her and I know you will too, so please keep your eye on her this season. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our showcase.

Cam is currently listed as the 3rd best overall player in the class of 2028 Texas State Ranking List. Every interaction I have had with this young lady has been super positive and that is due to her amazing attitude and awesome personality. Her parents have done such a great job raising her into an amazing young lady. You can tell that her teammates love playing with her and every coach that has worked with her from our program has given stellar reviews. On the court, she is a flat out stud! There is nothing that this six-rotation left side OH1 cannot do with the ball. Her ball control is top notch and she can throttle the ball with the best of them. After playing up an age group again all year in the open division, I am eagerly awaiting to see what she has learned. We will be reporting back you all with what we find.

Camryn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Frisco Reedy High School and plays club for the 1United volleyball program. We have covered this young lady before and every word written has been warranted. This time we got to see her in action at the highest level possible against some open level competition. Her team battled their way into the Challenge bracket and saw themselves take on the eventual champion. I was able to witness greatness from Miss Corso. I have always heard that “Big time players make big time plays in big time games” or Stars step up when their team really need them to” and this is exactly what happened to Cam. Every time her team went down or needed a big score, she rose to the occasion and came through in the clutch. The fact that she is class of 2028 playing with class of 2027 players and standing out is a huge feat. She has size, power, skill, touch on the ball, and a high volleyball IQ. Not only that, she is a wonderful young lady that is well liked by teammates. Keep your eye on this stud because she will definitely be able to play at the next level in a few years. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for her individual play.
