Emery isn’t afraid to reverse the flow of the offense, keeping defenses guessing and creating opportunities when the game gets tight. Her versatility, confidence, and steady leadership make her a reliable anchor for her team from start to finish.

mery is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays volleyball at Mansfield High School and club for the Drive Nation volleyball program.  Miss Thomson is one of those rare players who can literally do it all on the volleyball court.  Having played almost every position except middle during her career, she is extremely versatile and shows it in every match she plays.  Even when she is serving, you see how strong her body control is.  The way the ball fires out of her hands when she is setting the pins shows just how strong she is.  One aspect that really stands out to me when I watch her set is how accurate her location is all along the net.  She can really paint the bulls eye over and over again like a sniper.  I am eagerly awaiting her arrival at the Expo to see how well she connects with some of the amazing hitters that will be attendance.  I think she could be a sleeper pick to earn a Top Performer award with what I see right now.  Stay tuned to see if she makes the cut.
