States’ Best Ready For Battle at Prep Dig Iowa Sizzle

Start and end your season in Coralville.  The Iowa Prep Dig Sizzle is off to a hot start of registrations with some of the top teams in two states.  There is a one day option available where teams are guaranteed at least three games that will be officiated by high school officials.  This is a great way to start the season off with strong competition with all matches being at the Green State Fieldhouse in Coralville, connected to Xtream Arena.

Clear Creek-Amana

Clear Creek-Amana is coming off a huge 2023 where they were in the final four for Iowa’s Class 4A with a 46-1 overall record.  This program has been on the rise for quite some time and they will return Class of 2026 outside hitter Averie Lower Averie Lower 5'11" | OH Clear Creek Amana | 2026 State IA who is also one of the top basketball prospects in her class as well as Emily Henderson Emily Henderson 5'8" | S/RS Clear Creek Amana | 2026 State IA who is a swiss army knife duo who can set and attack. 

Denver

Denver has been to the state tournament the past four years and have established themselves as a top program in the Cedar Valley and in the NICL which is a premier small school conference when it comes to volleyball.  The Cyclones will be gearing up for a big 2024 season where they return Channing Johnson Channing Johnson 5'11" | S Denver | 2026 State IA who has 2,000 assists in two years as a varsity setter along with Bailey Mullihan Bailey Mullihan 5'11" | OH Denver | 2026 State IA and Grace Mullihan Grace Mullihan 5'11" | MB Denver | 2026 State IA , the twin duo who had a combined over 350 kills as sophomores. 

Green Bay Notre Dame Academy (WI)

Green Bay Notre Dame Academy will be making the trip to Coralville returning a large core of their team from a successful 2023 campaign going 23-17.  They return three incoming seniors with plenty of varsity experience in right side attacker Adah Danen Adah Danen 5'10" | MB Notre Dame | 2025 State WI who was an All State pick and 1st Team All Conference attacker.  Grace Borys Grace Borys 5'8" | S Notre Dame | 2025 State WI has collected 1,000 assists in her career while earning All Conference and All State honors and leading the backrow is Maddie Wolfram Maddie Wolfram 5'6" | DS/L Notre Dame Academy | 2025 State WI who has also reached 1,000 digs in her career with plenty of experience at libero. NDA is an equivalent to an Iowa Class 4A team with enrollment. 

Iowa City Regina

Iowa City Regina has two of the top prospects in the Class of 2026 in outside hitter Reese Naeve Reese Naeve 5'9" | OH Iowa City Regina Catholic | 2026 State #137 Nation IA and Kiley Devery Kiley Devery 6'1" | MB Solon | 2026 State IA .  Naeve already has 1000 kills in just two seasons and will have an exciting recruiting process that will start June 15.  Devery is on her club team of Iowa Rockets 16R squad where she is a dynamic middle blocker/right side attacker who can score points and block.  At libero is Addie Bollier Addie Bollier 5'3" | DS/L Regina Catholic | 2027 State IA who is the libero for Six Pack 15s and so solid, one of the top liberos in Iowa’s Class of 2027. 

Luxemburg-Casco (WI)

Luxemburg-Casco is East of Green Bay with a strong tradition winning three straight state titles in Wisconsin D2 (equivalent to Iowa Class 4A) 2019-2021.  This year they will be led by two physical attackers in Campbell Onell Campbell Onell 5'10" | RS Luxemburg-Casco | 2025 State WI (Belmont) and Isabella Vander Velden Isabella Vander Velden 6'1" | MB Luxemburg-Casco | 2025 State WI (Bemidji State).  They also have one of the top 2027 outside hitters in the state in Aubrey Frey Aubrey Frey 5'9" | OH Luxemburg-Casco | 2027 State #121 Nation WI .  They have plenty of experience, ball control, and a balanced attack that will cause plenty of waves throughout Wisconsin for the 2024 season. 

Mid-Prairie has continued to rise the past few seasons and have plenty of big game experience heading into 2024.  They return everyone from their 2023 season where they were 31-11.  Jovi Evans Jovi Evans 5'6" | DS/L Mid Prairie | 2026 State IA led the team in 2023 in assists and kills with over 6 assists per set and 3.5 kills per set. Defensively they have one of the top liberos in the Class of 2025 in Dakota Mitchell Dakota Mitchell 5'3" | DS/L Mid Prairie | 2025 State IA , a multisport star that has committed to play volleyball at North Texas. 

Mount Vernon

There are no secrets when it comes to Mount Vernon volleyball and the tradition they have built and continue to add to.  The Mustangs were the runner up in Iowa’s Class 3A in 2023 and will be heading into 2024 with a mission of unfinished business.  Louisville commit Chloe Meester Chloe Meester OH Mount Vernon | 2025 State #33 Nation IA is one of the top outside hitters in the Class of 2025 in the country.  They return setter Sydney Huber Sydney Huber S Mount Vernon | 2025 State IA who had over 1000 assists in 2023 and will add a new athlete in Sydney Maue Sydney Maue RS Mount Vernon | 2025 State IA who is an electric right side committed to Arkansas. 

Pleasant Valley

Pleasant Valley has built their program into a Class 5A power house where they won Iowa’s largest class in 2021, runner up in 2022, and what was supposed to be a rebuilding year in 2023 finished in a final four appearance. They return a large portion of their roster with two big point scoring attackers in Isabelle Kremer Isabelle Kremer 6'3" | OH Pleasant Valley | 2026 State #84 Nation IA who was a 2nd Team All State pick and Mazie Sweers Mazie Sweers 6'0" | OH Pleasant Valley | 2027 State IA who was one of the top freshmen in the 2023 season.  Stella Smith Stella Smith 6'1" | MB Pleasant Valley | 2025 State IA is a force out of the middle and is committed to UMKC.
