Berwanger does a good job influencing balls at the net. Opponents know they can not hit directly into her blocks so they either tip or even send them high and wide. Berwanger consistently gets her hands on balls. Berwanger puts amazing thunder into balls, especially on her cross-court shots. The righty Berwanger is not afraid to use her off-hand to catch opponents off-guard.

Berwanger may be one, if not the most underrated player in the top 25. Berwanger uses her instincts well mixing in hard and soft hits at the net. She also uses her athleticism for sound blocking. Berwanger’s dedication to the game will only lead to more good things her senior season. Berwanger had 224 kills, 48 assisted blocks, 13 solo blocks and 32 aces, helping Conner go 20-17 this past season.
