For all the attention on some of her teammates, Jones quietly goes in and handles her role well. Jones does a lot of little things that help add up to big things for the Saints such as putting serves on target and making precise passes. Then on serve receive and first contacts, Jones does well hustling to balls then squaring up her body to make precise passes. She communicates well with her teammates. Jones leads the GGCL with 11 aces to go with 21 digs.

Creech brings a lot of diversity from her position on the outside, which is needed to win consistently in the GGCL. She takes strong steps to the net drawing blockers to her even if the set is not coming to her opening things up for St. Ursula's other hitters. Creech surveys the floor then does what is necessary to put the ball down. Creech places balls in different spots on the court and takes things off hits taking advantage of defenders being too deep. Creech has 27 kills on the season including 15 against Mason.

Mahoney played a big role in Mount Notre Dame's Columbus Invitational Tournament championship with her hard hustle after balls. She stays focused on the action and makes nice passes even if balls come to her at odd angles because the blockers deflected them. Mahoney also puts great spin on balls making her serves hard for defenders to handle. Mahoney leads the GGCL with 54 digs on the season.

Gielas has been a solid option so far on the young season for the Lions. Her body may be aimed one way, but she makes adjustments in the air to send it to another location fooling defenders. She takes cross-court and shorter passes and smacks balls off defenders. Gielas takes overpassed balls and slips them to open parts of the court. Gielas also has great footwork, putting herself into hitting position long before the balls get to her hands. Gielas also does a great job passing the ball. Gielas also has a tough line hit. Gielas is fifth in the league in both kills with 32 and digs with 40.

Sess is a force in the middle for the Wolves using her size to her advantage. Sess does a good job finding holes on the floor a variety of ways. She smacks balls to the back line and is not afraid to hit balls off solid blockers and near strong defenders. Sess pounds down overpassed balls. Sess has 21 kills and is fifth in the league in blocks with eight so far this season.
