After the first month of volleyball is under our belts we have a good grasp on some 2026s that you will want to keep an eye on. There is plenty of talented 2026s left to recruit and we will take a look at some key players that may be operating under the radar or still looking at options.    Bothun is a notable outside hitter that takes a really smart shot down the line. She is offensively effective but also takes care of the court on defense. Bothun just finds a way to get block touches and off-blocker digs that attribute to her athleticism.     Kockelman knows exactly how to expose a split in the block with a smart swing. She's also not afraid to bounce the ball off the block and out of bounds for an instant point. Kockelman is getting the job done for her team at the net and the service line.     Janssen has height and length that give her a great advantage. You will find her hitting over most blockers that step in front of her. Janssen is a talented player with a high ceiling.     Soiney does a great job of getting up in the air quickly and I love the connection she has with Morken. When they are on they are virtually unstoppable. Soiney is definitely a primary weapon and she won't hesitate to crush an overpass.     Keaveny has been running the show in the back row for Mayer Lutheran. She is not only super solid in serve receive but her confidence has really grown her ability to communicate and extend her range. Defensively she is reading hitters like a book and making big plays look easy.     You do not want to let up your guard when Thein is on the court. She will sneak into the middle and smoke the 1 corner. Thein takes a really nice cross body roll shot down the line from the left pin when you least expect it. She can also play defense anywhere on the court and I really love her right back defense. Thein could be a dangerous weapon as a 6 rotation right side for a team running a 5-1.     Keaveny has turned herself into not only a distributor but also a weapon. I have loved being able to watch her game evolve over the past couple years. Coaches, if you are looking for a setter make sure Keaveny is on your list to watch.     Meagher will hang in the air waiting for the set to get to her and then take a very fast fast swing. She is athletic and found multiple shots to take in a short amount of time. She has the playmaking ability to manufacture points.     Rolbiecki has some really well-placed serve that sends the opposition into a scramble. She also reads the attacker really well and makes sure to make a tip look like a freeball play. Rolbiecki does a little bit of everything. She is compact and quick and she will make a great addition to any college program.     Mitchell was jumping out of the gym at the Class A Showcase. She has grown with confidence and the desire to play aggressive. She is definitely one that has made big strides in the last couple years and I'm glad to have been around to see it.
