KY 250 Expo: Five Setters to Watch

Jones can do both short sets and long sets including back sets putting the hitters in position to succeed. Jones adds versatility with nice passes defensively and solid serving. Stevie took some lumps learning the speed of the varsity level, but will only grow from it. Stevie threw off defenders often hitting balls at the net on first or second contacts including the setter dumps. Stevie showed she's not afraid to take swings when the team is out of system. Sanders does a good job on a variety of sets, especially quicks. She learned each hitter well trying to put them in position to succeed. Sanders threw opponents off with surprising setter dumps to open parts of the court. Sanders is also a solid defender and server. Randol makes good passes then quickly transitions to offense whether it is setting up hitters on taking spike attempts. Randol will only improve with experience. Hall runs the offense well, reading defenses and setting balls to the right spots. Hall does a number of short and long sets including back sets. Hall also hustles after balls, forms solid blocks at the net and can score points on nice serves. Hall had 834 assists, 231 digs, 35 aces, 24 solo and six assisted blocks helping the Knights to a 26-7 mark this past season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
