Director of the offense for the 4A state champion Chargers, Sophia can run a fast offense for any high level collegiate team right NOW. She's big enough to block opposing outsides, sets with accuracy and tempo on every kind of pass and defends her position better than most setters in this or any class. A Second-Team All-State honoree, she proved her defensive prowess with repeated digs against Indiana's Ms. Volleyball, [player_tooltip player_id='152944' first='Charlotte' last='Vinson'], in the state final. If there was ever a time to predict which setter gives a verbal commitment next, it would be now, and it's Miss Gisslen.

Similar in skill set but slightly smaller than Sophia (listed above), Keira is another Fort Wayne-area setter that can get to every pass and make it better for her teammates. Miss Dommer is also willing to be offensive when needed, taking any pass and scoring on her own. I also like what she does behind the baseline, making her a great all-around talent that does more than run an offense.

Of the kids listed here today, none are bigger or longer than Addie. Her sheer ability to go get a tight pass and make it hittable and in tempo is unmatched in this class. Largely overshadowed on her undefeated 3A state champion squad, Miss Haberthy has a mom that played, and that trait in her DNA allows her to understand the work ethic and dedication that is required to play high level ball. A First-Team All-State honoree from this past fall, you can find Addie on Circle's 17 Purple squad this spring, surrounded by Division I talent.

A different type of setter that the three listed above, Reese is more flashy and aggressive than the others listed here today. Miss Blanchard will take a nothing pass and turn it into a "big girl set" by reversing the flow of the offense reguarly. This makes her hard to read as a defense, which then opens more opportunities to score for her hitters. She can also adjust her tempo of sets depending on what hitters need in certain rotations.

As THE setter on a record-setting Tri-West team for the last two seasons, Grace is a reliable and calm setter that knows what hitters need the ball in the exact right situations. Although her size isn't as big as some listed here today, Miss Hargis is most comfortable in a 5-1 situation, possibly with a smaller school that wants a plug-and-play option immediately upon arrival on campus. I could also see her being part of a 6-2, while still able to go get tight passes and make them hittable. The defense she plays in her position is above-average in this class, and is seemingly always in the right spot at the right time.
