Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When playing volleyball, I like to be consistent with my serves, passes, and hits. On the court, I always try to stay aggressive, while always being smart on where and how I place the ball. As a player I like to be very verbal, it helps my teammates, and I recognize where the ball might go. Lastly, I try to prioritize my team over my individual glory, so we can all work toward our goal of winning.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court includes several key aspects, like always having a positive attitude and encouraging my teammates. While playing, I like to stay focused and get into the moment, while also being resilient and not letting my mistakes define me as a player. I am a very competitive player, and I like to have confidence and stay calm when the game gets chaotic, so I can execute that play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved Bismarck High Schools after school weightlifting program, run by Robert Fuller. I recently competed in a weightlifting competition, placing 1st in my weight class for most pounds lifted and for having the highest pound-to-pound ratio. I am also apart of Bismarck High School's National Honor Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being in National Honor Society, I have had the chance to tutor at a Bismarck middle school, developing skills like communication, problem solving, and guidance. I also had the opportunity to give back to my community by volunteering at Ministry on the Margins, wrapping and handing out gifts for those in need during the holiday season.
