Schettler is a powerful outside hitter who takes big, aggressive swings while maintaining excellent control. She attacks with confidence but shows great discipline in her shot selection. She is especially valuable in out of system situations, where she remains composed and still finds ways to produce quality attacks. Her range as a hitter stands out, as she mixes in a variety of shots and has a great feel for when to use tips and pushes to keep the defense guessing.
