It makes volleyball folk root for what we saw here with Iowa Impact. Built to win a regional title, it's loaded.

The talented Ankeny High trio of [player_tooltip player_id='215465' first='Reagan' last='Hanfelt'] (Iowa State), [player_tooltip player_id='207016' first='Baileigh' last='Carlsen'] (Auburn) and [player_tooltip player_id='204525' first='Kamryn' last='Scheib'] (Bellevue) are joined by Ankeny Christian standouts [player_tooltip player_id='215462' first='Katie' last='Quick'] (Drake), [player_tooltip player_id='506115' first='Macey' last='Nehring'] (Oklahoma Christian) and [player_tooltip player_id='215463' first='Carley' last='Craighead'] (Cedarville), and Ankeny Centennial multi-year all-stater, [player_tooltip player_id='215464' first='Delaney' last='Miller'] (Wayne State).
We previewed 16 Mizuno last week. It confirmed its potential to win a regional title. Mazie Sweers looked healthy and explosive again after an injury late in the prep season.
Six Pack 17 has a chance to make a run at the regional title in its age group. It was good seeing [player_tooltip player_id='389014' first='Abby' last='Jensen'] competing again after recovering from knee surgery. The Swiss Army Knife did whatever her team needed. [player_tooltip player_id='389017' first='Bailey' last='Mullihan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='389010' first='Annistyn' last='Wedgbury'] also shine during the weekend.

Select 17 Mizuno came up short against Six Pack in the quarterfinals. That squad, led by [player_tooltip player_id='230661' first='Ellah' last='Derrer'], [player_tooltip player_id='389006' first='Carsyn' last='Kelley'] and company, flashed its upside and should ascend as the season advances.

Iowa Select fielded an impressive 15U team that took the 15-16 division. [player_tooltip player_id='694203' first='Belle' last='Cotton'] broke out during the prep season, and showed this weekend she's ready to take another step forward in club.

While that United outfit will be tough to top at regionals, two challengers showed out here. Select 14 Mizuno took down CIA 14 Black in a three-set thriller for the title.
