About Avalon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a team-focused 2026 Libero from Tempe, Arizona with a big defensive range. I've been playing club volleyball for 7 years and at the 6A High School level. I like a fast-paced game where I am challenged to be my best at every game, every competition. I'm a vocal and supportive player on the court, working with my setter and attackers to defend the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don't give up when things get hard or we are in a losing situation. I work hard on my mental game and staying steady and positive in down moments to lift others up. When we work together and support each other, we can do anything! I'm a very hard worker and driven to be a college volleyball athlete. My favorite part of volleyball is competition and the relationships with my team and coaches.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the National Honor Society, I play beach volleyball, and I have a part-time job at a local senior center. I have also officiated recreational volleyball at the 12U and 14 U levels. I love to play pickleball as good cross training for volleyball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a member of NHS, I perform community service regularly in my city. I have volunteered at food banks, trash pick ups, as a tutor, and local elementary school events. I was selected as team co-captain for my club team at 16's and had a large role working with my other co-captain and my coach helping the team with bonding activities, drills and communication.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to all states and sizes of college and program. I want to be in a program where I am challenged and supported to be the best athlete and teammate I can be. I like a direct coaching style. My academics are important to me. I am looking for a college where I can grow as a student and a person and have a great experience as a college athlete!
