The 5'11 Alexander has some good tools as an offensive middle. Her effort to get off the net in transition is aggressive and purposeful to get herself into good situations to be able to approach and take the big swings she is capable of producing. Along with good power, she has good awareness and arm control to be able to swing through both sides of the court. Alexander was part of the core offensive trio for Fairlawn this past fall as she earned 147 kills for nearly two kills per set for a solid freshman season.

As the club season progresses Thornton continues to develop in her movement and timing as an offensive option. Coming off a varsity effort with Springboro this past fall, her team lead in total blocking is evident in where she can make big contributions for her club team as she has good quickness off the floor. She has athleticism to become a big impact on both sides of the ball as she has a long frame at 6'1 and developing more space and using more assertive and aggressive arm action in her lift and swing will help that cause.

I've see Ferguson mainly on the right side of the court where she can be an offensive factor with good movement in her approach pattern and the ability to guide the ball through open space upon contact. Competing for [program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last='']'s second 15U team, she helps to complete their offense through both pins with ability to score in other areas if needed. Her [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] and balance in the air improves if she can get both arms involved in double-arm lift action. With a lot of time to develop that movement, she has a good foundation in place.

Although Princeton did not find much match win success this past fall, Simons gained valuable experience as a freshman as one of their top offensive performers. Her growth is noticeable and one unique aspect I like about her game is that she is a lefty, one of a few identified in this class so far. Her club effort with OPVC is showing more risk and confidence in her arm swing, which includes some good pace upon contact, while also highlighting her skills defending at the net and being able to contribute to the passing game.

Groff arrives on this list given recent evaluations that included steady contributions for her [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] team as a DS through a few rotations. She reads the floor well and I like that she gets her feet stopped while facing the opposing attacker at the point of their contact. More efficiency in her first step will help increase her range that will match the big effort she already uses to pursue the ball. She has potential to become a really good first-contact prospect.
