Roy (pictured) stepped in and had an outstanding season at the net for the Centurions. Roy takes sound swings from the middle and the pins. She does a good job redirecting overpassed balls away from defensive specialists. Roy can smack ones to back rows and tap them near the shallow lines in the one and five zones. Roy is also a sound blocker and server. Roy had 328 kills, 49 assisted blocks, 16 solo blocks and 66 aces in the fall, helping CAL go 30-7, win the 28th District crown and drive to the region semifinals.

Roy has done a good job trying to help the Centurions pick things up offensively with the loss of their top player for the season to injury. Roy made a lot of things happen on the ones, beating blocks and sending balls hard to the ground. Roy had 14 kills on 34 attempts and just three errors for a .324 hitting percentage in the loss to Rowan County.

Roy makes a lot of things happen in the middle, especially on the quicks. She goes up strong on solo and double blocks then gets into her hitting position quickly. Roy deposits balls to different part of the court from the gaps as well. Roy pounds balls to lines and puts up strong blocks.
