Maddie has some impressive swings with great ball control and power. She can hit deep to the back line and will make the offence back up routinely. She has a nice cross court shot to rack up kills with a nice approach, or she can switch it up with a kill down the line. She moves quickly to position herself and doesn’t need the perfect set to swing. She can get up for the block and can pass up accurately with a good platform and technique playing a full rotation. She is supportive of her teammates on the court and has good drive.

Ramey has taken nice steps to being a more dominant hitter on the outside. Ramey finds different ways to hit over and around blocks. She can send balls down the line and make tough crosses. Ramey has shown she can land balls on nice defensive specialists. Ramey rips the seams with precision.

Ramey turned into a solid hitter for the Centurions this fall. Ramey has a nice arm swing and understands angles well. She finds different ways to execute against taller players, often angling balls off blockers for points. Ramey even throws defender for a loop using her off (left) hand for tap kills. She sends tough shots down lines. Ramey had 291 kills for CAL this past fall.
